Mumbai

Often referred as “the city of dreams”, Mumbai is a city that never sleeps. From jam-packed railway platforms to the famous Dabbawalas, multi-millionaires to suburban slums, the dazzling Bollywood to the quintessential vada pav, bhel puri, and sev puri, the uniqueness of Mumbai is beyond words.

Aurangabad

Also called the City of Gates, Aurangabad was named after the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. It has many UNSECO World Heritage Sites including the Ajanta and Ellora Caves.

Hyderabad

Also known as the City of Pearls, Hyderabad is well-known for its rich history, food and its multi-lingual culture, both geographically and culturally.

Warangal

Said to be carved out on a single rock Warangal is located in the eastern part of the Deccan plateau. The city is known for its thousand pillar temple an architectural marvel that showcases the beauty of Kakatiya and Chalukyan dynasty.

Amravati

Located in Southern banks of Krishna River, Amravati is rich in Satavahana and Buddhist history. Amravati Stupa, museum, and Undavalli Caves dedicated to Anantha Padmanabha and Lord Narashimha and used by the Buddhist monks as rest houses are regions majore highlights.

Borra caves

The caves are home to million-year-old stalactite and stalagmite formations. Perched at an elevation of 1,400 m above sea level,they came into existence as a result of the flow of Gosthani river on the limestone deposits in the area. Some of the imposing stalactite and stalagmite formations that can be seen here include those of Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati.

Bavikonda

The Bavikonda Buddhist Monastery is an old and sacred site. The complex is spread over a large area, consisting of a few hills where you can find quite a few stupas. Different shrines, temples, galleries can also be found around the complex.

Thotlakonda

Thotlakonda Hill is best known for a 2,000-year-old Buddhist complex. The archaeological excavations conducted here revealed a number of relics including 16 votive stupas, 11 rock-cut cisterns, stoned pathways, circular chaitya-grihas, votive platforms.

Vishakhapatnam

Vishakhapatnam, also known as Vizag, is home to the oldest shipyard and the only natural harbour on the east coast of India. The city is also known for its beaches.
